About your Role:

As a Lead Foster Parent Mentor you are responsible for onboarding and direct supervision of Foster Parent Mentors in the applicable regions. Providing occasional Foster Parent Mentoring services to Caregivers referred by DHS, you will also provide regional based oversight of referral procurement and assignment and establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with key regional stakeholders and partners. Working to ensure that the referred Caregivers in the region receive high quality, individualized, appropriate services to assist them in developing the skills needed in order to maintain and stabilize the placement of a youth in their home.

• Competitive pay- $45,000/year

Does the following apply to you?

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Two (2) years of relevant experience (additional education may substitute for years of experience)
• One (1) year of supervisory experience
• Valid drivers license, clean driving record and auto insurance
• CPR/First Aid- provided by an agency
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI)- provided by an agency
• Tier 1 Collaborative Problem Solving provided by an agency
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks

Preferred but not required:

• Bachelors Degree
• Previous experience as a Resource or Foster Parent
