Community Outreach to Veterans

These organizations are participating in our exclusive Community Outreach program. Through this program, groups and organizations that directly work with Veterans receive open job notifications on a daily basis that match the criteria they specifically requested. These daily notifications (known as JobCasts™) can be customized by location, profession, education and experience.

Benton County Veteran Services

Benton County Veteran ServicesBenton County Veterans' Services helps veterans, their dependents, and their survivors apply for benefits from both the U.S. and the State of Oregon Departments of Veterans' Affairs (VA). We also act as advocates for those who apply. Services include helping applicants’ complete forms for medical benefits, disability pensions, education benefits, VA home loans, and help with claims appeals.

Hire Oregon Veterans Program

Hire Oregon Veterans ProgramThe Hire Oregon Veterans (HOV) Program is a partnership between Community Solutions for Clackamas County, the Labors Community Service Agency, Inc. and the WorkSource Oregon Employment Department. Services are offered in Clackamas, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington and Yamhill counties. Our goal is to increase the employment of Veterans by providing employment services to Veterans, education to employers on the benefits of hiring a Veteran and by serving as a vehicle for connecting employers to skilled Veterans.

Lane County Veteran ServicesOur Veteran’s Service Officers are accredited VA representatives who advocate for our communities veterans and their families to ensure they receive all entitlements provided by Federal and State law.

Women Marines Association (Area 9)

Women Marines Association (Area 9)The Women Marines Association is the only veterans association for and about women Marines. WMA is a non-profit 501(c)3 veteran organization. The Women Marines Association was established in Denver, CO, in 1960 to ensure that our history as Marines would continue to be told and passed on to a new generation of Marines. Chapters and members across the nation work on community programs and support our military personnel, our veterans and their communities. They reach across all areas where there is a need.
